Benefit Concert Saturday August 27th 2011 5:00 pm  
   
The Saturday evening outdoor dinner concert will be a benefit for the Pacific Music Foundation (PMF Mission) founded by our 'Ukulele workshop instructor Kimo Hussey. The concert will also benefit Ukes for Kids Sf Bay Area which is a partnership between Ho'omau Workshops and Aloha Warehouse of Japantown San Francisco to promote and organize 'Ukulele Workshops and programs for bay area keiki (kids).

The concert will feature
Kimo Hussey, Patrick Landeza, Steven Espaniola and special guest Faith Ako . The concert is being held in conjunction with the 'Ukulele, Slack Key and Feather Lei workshops. If you can't join us for the workshops be sure to join us for a great dinner and concert at an incredible setting in the wine country.

Faith Ako: Sonoma County’s own local girl, Faith Thompson Ako, is known throughout the greater Bay Area, West coast and her native Oahu for her lovely renditions of both traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music. Faith is a multiple Hawaii Music Award winner and has been nominated for a Nā Hākū Hanohano award. Read more about Faith and visit her website at www.faithako.com

Kimo Hussey: 'Ukulele master, top Hawaiian music educator, co-author of "He Mele Aloha" songbook (dark blue cover) delivers pure nahe nahe (http://www.kimohussey.com). 

Patrick Landeza: Hawaiian musician, songwriter, producer, educator, Hawaiian Music award winner and Nā Hōkū Hanohano nominee, Patrick Landeza is considered to be a leading performer of Hawaiian slack key guitar or Ki ho'alu. (http://www.patricklandeza.com) .

Steven Espaniola
: Steven is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in Ki Ho'alu (Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar), 'Ukulele, Upright Bass, and Leo Ki'e Ki'e (Traditional Hawaiian falsetto). In 2007, Steven's musical efforts earned him the recognition of "New Artist of the Year" at the Hawaii Music Awards (http://www.stevenespaniola.com).
